Ready or Not

This is a pivotal year for me QueenSiS, and I have put up some BIG prayers and plans.  I’m meditating on what it means to really be ready for answered prayers this dayclean. And of course the awesome brothers of After 7 have supplied the perfect song Ready or Not (who could ever tire of 90s R&B? Not me!).

Funny thing I’ve learned about responses to prayers is to expect the apparent opposite: pray for patience, expect to encounter frustrating situations (that build patience): ask for the spirit of discernment, expect to be presented with tough decisions and unclear choices (that will build discernment);  pray for abundance, expect to be called for major opportunities to earn, expand, and excel (that can result in abundance). I wish praying was the same as waving a magic wand, but fairytales are for princesses. Queens learn to stay ready so we don’t have to spend precious time and energy getting ready for the answers to our prayers. #QueenStayReady
