It’s a brilliant beautiful blessed Sunday, and I’m meditating on what it means to persist: ‘any organism that survives a period of extreme conditions.’ Heaven knows a sista has faced some extreme conditions in this life! Hello intersectionality, whew lordt.

Oh but give thanks for divine purpose, provision, protection, and placement in the midst of it all. Give thanks for a spirit of persistence. Like Soul II Soul & Caron Wheeler so beautifully suggests, I mean to Keep On Moving like the hands of time. I’m gonna remember the periods of extreme conditions survived so far, especially the strategies and tactics, and the lessons learned. These will help me not only survive but thrive in the future. #PerSister
