Global Majority

I’m meditating on the beloved African diaspora this dayclean. It is still a thing for enemies of unity in diversity to accuse Black people of “playing the race card” but I will ignore such foolishness at every opportunity.

It is a joy to remember that I am a part of a global majority, especially when I feel surrounded by people and perspectives that are so singularly Eurocentric. And I love how the lovely Lila Ike’ reminds us in Thy Will that “when we’re one this is when we’ll overcome”.  Praying for everything I need to help build or support healthy communities across the African diaspora. #glocalcitizen
