Mind Field

It does not take a military background to understand the meaning of a mindfield. There are some places and spaces where minds were set during ground battles long ago, but they still require caution and care.

This dayclean, I’m meditating on how often my mind is the space where battles are being waged for control of my expectations, emotions, and reactions. Give thanks I already know the outcome of these battles, but JHud’s We Gon Fight  is giving me a beautiful reminder that sometimes all twelve rounds are required, even in a fixed fight. #mindthebattlefield
