My Kind of Beauty
I had a nightmare last night that I had to undergo surgery against my will, and afterwards I did not like what I saw in the mirror - not much had changed but it just wasn’t me anymore.
Probably no coincidence the meditation for this dayclean is on recognizing beauty has a broad and deep variety, just like the Creator Divine intended. It feels good to push back against false notions of single Eurocentric beauty standards. Like the ingenious India.Arie told us 25 years ago: “I know my Creator didn’t make no mistakes on me. My lips my eyes my hips my thighs I’m loving what I see!” #andbeautyismyname
