Significance of Sleep
As of late I’ve noticed a lot of talk about more rest and less stress, which is wonderful. I also think it is important to focus more attention on getting more restorative sleep.
Good stuff happens with good sleep: immune system strength, heart disease avoidance, improved brain functioning, and reduced depression. We can have better concentration and communication abilities during the day when we have better sleep at night. My sleep pattern has been disrupted more than once already this year, but I’m using small steps to help restore a restorative sleep life: set bedtimes, mild evening meals, lavender and lemongrass essential oils, and soothing sleep soundtracks. As much as I like Ms. Jackson and J. Cole’s No Sleep weekend vibe, I do not plan to be the queen of insomnia! #sleeprestoration
