What a perfect meditation after yesterday’s DDQ Vision Board Day Party! How I loved to see the beautiful #DDQmmunity in creative action - we are so vibrant.

To say life is a beautiful struggle is probably the understatement of the year, but I’m giving thanks for the magic Talib Kweli and Mary J came together to create with I Try. It’s reminding me that I am not required to just accept whatever is presented in life as my complete reality. So much of each day depends on whether or not I chose to lean into the spirit of creativity. When things around me seem dull, overwhelming, or depressing, instead of simply struggling thru, I can use my own brush to paint a more vibrant, inviting, calming, and beautifully productive day. Give thanks for all the creatives in my community and beyond who inspire me on the daily! #ICreateMyDay
