Sacrificial Leadership

The meditation topic for this last dayclean in the first month of 2025 is leadership. I’m thinking about many of the things that make true leadership hard, and many of the reasons why true leadership is so necessary.

In spite of the conservative backlash against “woke” ideas, I’m still convinced the recommendations suggested by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes back in 1975 are spot on: it is time to wake up everybody because this world will only get better if we lead it. I’m encouraged by the young people around me who are ready to lead, and I pray for the wisdom to mentor them and readily pass whatever leadership batons I have to their hands. #sheleads
