Remember to Remember

I had a brilliant MLK Day of Service yesterday (hat tip to the Bluffton MLK Observance Committee). One of the highlights was attending a program led by young people - hearing one of the songs I sang back in youth choir was something special.

The meditation prompt this dayclean is about sharing and shaping our ancestral memories.  I’m taking  Black Butterfly notes from that beautiful ensemble The Sounds of Blackness on this prompt - I realize we have a heritage that ranks second to none, but we have to see and reveal this truth for the next generation everyday. #Iremember
