Love the Children

Habari Gani QueenSiS? It’s the first dayclean of Kwanzaa, and I’m meditating on the legacy I want to leave behind for the children in my life.

Even though our ancestors endured terrible circumstances, and my parents spent their entire lives in economic poverty, I was still blessed with a rich legacy. Now I’m working to build family homes, businesses, and farms that will sustain our next generations. But I pray to be reminded that the most important part of that legacy is good health and real love. I want the children of the future to have that Quincy Jones (via Siedah G. and Chaka K.) “never giving up, still believing, love sweet love”! #leavethemlove
